A note to the Accountant, RBC DI auto-journals Norbert’s Gambit. I rebalanced and did NG this week and everything settled as expected a couple days later, including my same day buy of VXUS. I didn’t have to call or anything. +DLR (CAD), -DLR.U (US), +VXUS (US).
I’m planning to open a Questrade account in the future so that’s one extra step I’ll have to consider then. I really want to try Questrade and Passiv to utilize the free trades.

That is awesome that RBC does the auto journal. I wonder if we will see more of the brokerages switch to that as it gets more awareness in the self directed space.
Would be pretty awesome if Questrade and Passiv could team up so that you can set an amount that you want denoted in USD and have it auto rebalance using Norbert’s gambit.
