OF COURSE Passiv was made in Fredericton, NB! How could you forget it was made in the best province, despite what “The Beaverton” has to say. 😛 Thanks for promoting an awesome Canadian business. I just wanted to say that I used a FI Garage referral to sign up for Passiv a few months ago, and I LOVE IT. As much as I “enjoyed” figuring out how to do trades on Questrade, and remembering to go in and purchase / balance things every payday, I don’t miss it at all. I programmed everything into Passiv and it’s literally 2 clicks to straighten out my portfolio each month. Thanks for the great 2nd interview!
Hey T, Happy to hear you are using it and find it effective. It really is the next level for DIY investors at Questrade. Cheers!
Hey guys, another great episode. I watched this one on YouTube and it was great to put faces to voices!
A note to the Accountant, RBC DI auto-journals Norbert’s Gambit. I rebalanced and did NG this week and everything settled as expected a couple days later, including my same day buy of VXUS. I didn’t have to call or anything. +DLR (CAD), -DLR.U (US), +VXUS (US).
I’m planning to open a Questrade account in the future so that’s one extra step I’ll have to consider then. I really want to try Questrade and Passiv to utilize the free trades.
Keep up the great work.
That is awesome that RBC does the auto journal. I wonder if we will see more of the brokerages switch to that as it gets more awareness in the self directed space.
Would be pretty awesome if Questrade and Passiv could team up so that you can set an amount that you want denoted in USD and have it auto rebalance using Norbert’s gambit.
Thanks for Listening!
